Shinjuku to Hakone 2009/10/18 Hakone Hi, I looked up Hyperdia for the trains (not the limited express Romance Cars) from Shinjuku to Hakone. I noticed that between Odawara station and Hakone-Yumoto station, there is 1 transfer at from Odakyu Odawara Line Exp. to Hakonetozan Railroad. Doesn't the train from Shinjuku goes to Hakone-Yumoto directly? I'm going to go on the Hakone round course. Does that mean when I transfer at Odawara, I can take the Hakonetozan Railroad to Gora or do I have to change to another train at Hakone-Yumoto? Thank you!! by vlazygirl (guest)   ... 2009/10/18 Romance Cars for sure go as far as Hakone-yumoto. But to get to Gora using Odakyu "non-"Romance Car trains, I believe you will need to change twice at (1) Odawara, then at (2) Hakone-yumoto. Just ride as far as the train takes you, and change there :) by AK rate this post as useful ... 2009/10/19 It seems that there are no more direct trains these days, except the Romance Cars.
