Thank you! admission for Nikko's shinkyo bridge 2009/10/21 Nikko I am puzzled that there is an admission fee of 300 yen for shinkyo bridge in Nikko. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3814.html Is this true? Thanks. by starlight (guest)   shinkyo bridge 2009/10/22 yes, it costs 300 yen for the privilege to cross (over and back) this sacred bridge which is one of the top three bridges in Japan. Whether its worth it is only for you to judge. No, the bridge is sightseeing attraciton only and accesible from only one side. There is no through traffic. If we don't cross this bridge, can we still walk to the shrines?
