Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! Getting to Nikko 2009/11/5 Nikko I've been looking at the World Heritage Pass to get to Nikko. I saw that I can buy it at the Sightseeing Center at Asakura station, but it is only open from 8 to 2:30. I will be arriving in Tokyo in the late afternoon and want to leave the following morning as early as possible (before 8). I also saw that there is a JR "rapid" train to Nikko for about 1400 yen leaving hourly from 6:20 AM - Can I use the World Heritage pass on this train? If so, is there somewhere else I can buy it? by Michelle (guest)   ... 2009/11/5 I saw that I can buy it at the Sightseeing Center at Asakura station, but it is only open from 8 to 2:30. I believe that the pass can also be purchased after 2:30 from the "Tobu Travel" travel agency, which is located inside Asakusa Station, but I am not 100% sure. But Tobu rapid trains leave Asakusa Station hourly for Nikko. They are covered by the World Heritage pass.
