Kansai Airport to Chichibu Night Festval

Hi,

We are arriving at Kansai Airport at 6:30pm.

We want to make the Chichibu Night Festival, mentioned on this website, by the next day.

We're wondering whats the best and hopefully cheapest way to get there.

We don't have accomodation booked yet, is it best to get accomodation around the Osaka first, than catch a bullet train the next day?

The cheapest way would be catching an overnight bus from Osaka to Tokyo. You would have more than enough time to reach Chichibu on the following day. Below is a website that allows online reservations for very cheap overnight bus routes:

You could also fly from Kansai Airport to Tokyo after arrival on the same evening.

Or you could take trains to Tokyo on the following day.

In all of the three above options, you can easily make it to Chichibu time wise.
