Miyajima last boat

Hello ILve one Q regarding the boat going from Miyajima to Hiroshima - when does the last boat usually leave? I would like to catch the train (to Kyoto) leaving Hiroshima st. at 19:51 though I find that going from Mi-guchi needs to leave Miyajima too soon. Therefore I would return to Kyoto through Hiroshima & not by train only from M-guchi. thanks in advance

Uji, thank you again for your useful response. To me it seems like the best (+ the latest & still quite comfortable with 1 transfer only) way to go back from miyajima to kyoto is this one: http://www.hyperdia.com/classic_en/hyperWeb.cgi#ROUTE4though if it is so, then I have 1 more related Q: will we be able to catch the train in Hiroshima st. while transfering from JR Sanyo Line when there is 7 mins hole only ...? Plus - to catch the train 19:16 from Miyajimaguchi I think I must take the ferry first from Miyajima Pier - would you be so kind & write me also the schedule for this ferry since it is neither of those you wrote before. And if it is, then which one is it? thanks again Uji (& to others eventually too)

I cannot access the link, but I think I can imagine the route.
will we be able to catch the train in Hiroshima st. while transfering from JR Sanyo Line when there is 7 mins hole only ...?
Under normal conditions and if you walk relatively quickly, it should be no problem.
Here are JR ferry connections from Miyajima to Miyajima-guchi around 7pm: 18:25, 18:45, 19:00, 19:30 The ride takes 10 minutes. The walk from the pier to the station about 5 minutes.

Uji thank you a lot for your help(s). Every time you responde the responce is excellent & useful! I will try to minimize my Qs though I am leaving in the mid-April so I am afraid there will be more Qs regarding my travel. I plan to start to finalise my schedule from the next week (or at least for those days I know definitelly what I will be doing ...), so perhaps plenty Qs might follow - do not hesitate to respond again as your As are helpful. MANY THANKS AGAIN. Jet

Dear Uji, following our discussion above, I guess it might be better & provide me with much much more time at miyajima if I choose the boat from miyajima to M-guchi (rather then to hiroshima) - correct? as I went through the pages of JR boats & Matsudai kisen respectively I found out that I might stay at Miyajima until some 18:30 (10 mins boat = at 18:40/45 m-guchi pier) to catch the JR sanyo at m-guchi station at 19:08 (at 19:36 in hiroshima) & œhinkanzen in hiroshima at 19:51 (15 mins to transfer from sanyo to shinkanzen in hiroshima station might be enough - correct?) do I understand it correct? links: http://www12.ocn.ne.jp/~matsudai/eng.htmhttp://www.jr-miyajimaferry.co.jp/time/ (... well - I do not understand what is written in the JR timetable as it is in japanese ...) how long (approx.) will it take from m-guchi station to the m-guchi pier - walking if possible ...? thanks in advance (my trip is nearer & nearer, very much looking forward to it & hope I will be able to help to others as well after my arrival back home ...)

From Miyajima-guchi JR station, it is less than 5 min walk to the pier straight down the main road. You need to take a pedestrian subway to cross a road.
