Up to date budgets 2010/2/13 00:36
Hello all,

I see that the travel budgets here: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2410.html haven't been updated since Feburary 21, 2009. Is this information still relatively up-to-date? This is an amazing website, I just wanted to make sure because I am really anxious about my own budget! Thanks so much for your help.

Yes, they are still up to date. The deflation is not that bad to cause considerable price changes over the period of only one year.

prices 2010/2/13 22:10
Prices in Japan for most goods and services do not change as fast as they do in other countries, if at all, because inflation has not been an issue here for many years. I am always shocked by the price rises when I go back to my home country every three years or so, because in that time frame prices in japan tend not to change at all, or if anything, go down.
