quickest way from narita to fukushima?

please help...i am coming to japan for the first time and am trying to get from narita to fukushima in the fastest and most affordable way possible. thank you in advance...

Fastest is often not the same as most affordable. A relatively good option for you would be to take the direct bus, but note that there are only two per day:

They depart at 9:20 and 15:30. And the one way trip takes 5.5 hours and costs 5500 yen.

I assume that you want to go to Fukushima City in Fukushima Prefecture.

thank you for your reply. fastest would be better. so, would the best method be shuttle from narita to tokyo, then take the tohoku shinkasen to koriyama station?

So, are you implying that your final destination is Koriyama? I assume so.

By shinkansen: 3 hours, 11,000 yen, frequent connections
By direct bus: 4.5 hours, 4,800 yen, 2 buses per day

Just wondering, if taking shinkansen, can Japan Rail pass be used for this route?

Both JR Nationalwide Pass and JR East Pass are valid for this route.
