Kawaguchiko Vs. Takayama

I'm driving from Tokyo to Kanazawa in mid April stopping one night each at: Hakone, Kawaguchiko, Magome, Tsumago, Shirakawako and Kanazawa.
The problem is I really need one more day/night to stay/explore Takamatsu but I can't add any more days.
Question: 1/. Should I sacrifice my night in Kawaguchiko and instead add a day/night at Takamatsu (ie. drive Hakone-Magome and forget about my night at Kawaguchiko) and adjust itinerary to suit. 2/. Or should I just leave it as is and have virtually no time at to spend at Takamatsu?
I need to know soon if I want to change adjust accomodation and itinerary to suit.
Thanking in advance!

You better visit Tsumago before Magome.

I assume you mean Takayama. Indeed, you won't have much time to spend there along the way. Either you add time or you drop other destinations. It is a very driving-intensive itinerary already.
