Fukuoka airport to Oita city

Hi, I'm due to arrive at Fukuoka airport next Thursday but I am staying in Oita. Can anyone advise me on how to get from the airport to Oita?

Also, if someone from Oita was to come and collect me by car, how long would it likely take them? I think that somone may offer but I don't want to put them to much trouble.

Not knowing what time you get into Fukuoka, I'm assuming around 4 PM. I would take the first choice at this link (only one transfer).

By car, it looks, at a minimum, almost a three hour drive, probably closer to 4 hours.

Use the super non-stop or non-stop bus from Hakata or Tenjin station.

There is a local route, too. See Within Kyushu Route on the left column. It takes ~30min. longer.
These buses depart every 20-30min.
