Travelling Osaka - Tokyo 2010/5/6 10:29
We (2 pax) will be travelling from Osaka to Tokyo on 27th May until 30th May.

On 27th (am) We plan to take Hikari shinkansen from Shin Osaka to Shinagawa Tokyo as we will be staying in Prince Shinagawa.
In the afternoon, plan to visit Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya by local train.

On 28th we plan to take Hakone Fuji trip (one day)

On 29th plan to visit Tokyo Disneyland or go to SHinjuku shopping area (train travelling.)

On 30th will go to Narita (am) from Prince Shinagawa.

Questions:

1. How to buy Hikari ticket for Osaka to Tokyo via online ? Any discount for 2 person (one way ticket)

2. Should I take up the JR pass for local Tokyo travelling for 27th until 30th May based on above travel plan or just buy individually ticket on travel time. ( which is cheaper?)

TQ/ Regards

Japan Rail Pass 2010/5/6 13:57
Ogieshim,

1. How to buy Hikari ticket for Osaka to Tokyo via online ?

You can't. Just buy it at the station when you get there. There is no need to buy it days in advance.

Any discount for 2 person (one way ticket)

No.

2. Should I take up the JR pass for local Tokyo travelling for 27th until 30th May based on above travel plan or just buy individually ticket on travel time. ( which is cheaper?)

The Japan Rail Pass would only save you money if you were travelling from Tokyo to Osaka and back. It won't save you money if you just make the one-way trip plus pottering around in Tokyo.
