Do I need a JR Pass?

3 Adults and 1 Child. We're heading to Japan at the end of the month, and I was wondering if it was worth it to get a JR pass?
Also, do you know any picturesque places that we can visit or yummy places to eat?
May 27 - (afternoon) Arrive Tokyo, Tour Shinjuku
May 28 - Imperial Palace, Ginza, and Akihabara
May 29 - Tsukiji and Harajuku ( Get a hair cut)
May 30 - Tour Tokyo
May 31 - Tour Tokyo and take Shinkansen to Kyoto
June 1 - Tour Kyoto and leave for Osaka
June 2 - Tour Osaka
June 3 - Tour Osaka
June 4 - Tour Osaka
June 5 - Tour Nara and leave for Nagoya
June 6 - Tour Nagoya
