From Furano to Asahiyama Zoo

Hi,

I would like to check how do I get to the Asahiyama Zoo from Furano station?

Is there any express trains to take?

No, there is no express train. The zoo is not even connected by train. You could travel by train and bus via Asahikawa. But travel by bus via Asahikawa Airport is probably quicker. So, take the airport bus from Furano to Asahikawa Airport and transfer to another bus to the zoo:

I made a mistake. It seems that the buses between Asahikawa Airport and Asahiyama Zoo are very infrequent (only two per day). Therefore, it is probably better to travel via Asahikawa Station. There are buses to the zoo every 30 minutes or so from Asahikawa Station.
