Sapporo/Otaru Welcome Pass

Hi, I'm looking to get the Welcome Pass. Understand that this comes along with 1Day unlimited usage of the Sapporo Subway + Sapporo Otaru JR rides. Can I activate the usage separately or must both usage fall on the same day? Thanks.

You can use the pass separately in any two days.
