Bus from Nagoya to shirakawa

I plan to go to Shirakawa from Nagoya directly and know that Gifu bus company operate at 0900 and arrive Shirakawa at 1148. My question is I have to make a reservation for the bus or not or I can buy the ticket and then board the bus. Besides, I will stay overnight at Takayama, so any coin locker at Shirakawa? I plan to use locker to keep my small bag and after finish Shirakawa tour I will go to Takayama. Thank in advance.

If the bus is not booked out, you can buy a ticket right before boarding on the day of travel. I don't think that it is booked out very often.
