Combination ticket for Nikko

Hello,
I read in my guidebook there was a combination ticket available for all the main temples in Nikko, about 1000y ?
Can I use that ticket during 2 days or is it only available during 1 day ?
I'm asking that because I'll come to Nikko from Kyoto (leaving early in the morning), and I don't know if it's worth buying the combination ticket if it's only for 1 day (and I'll arrive in Nikko in the afternoon)
