Travel to Nikko and Hakone

Hi,
I plan to visit Nikko and Hakone in the middle of Dec. I'd like to ask for ecommendations on best way to get to these places and if it is worth getting the World Heritage Pass(for Nikko) and Hakone Free Pass(for Hakone).
Day 1. Travel from Tokyo to Kinugawa-onsen.(Stay the night in Kiinugawa)
Day 2. Visit Nikko. (Stay the night in Kinugawa)
Day 3. Travel from Kinugawa-onsen to Gora. (Stay the night in Gora)
Day 4. Tour Hakone. (Stay the night in Gora)
Day 5. Travel from Gora to Gotemba Outlet and back. (Stay the night in Gora)
Day 6. Travel to Tokyo.(Stay the night in Tokyo)
