Dakigaeri Valley 2010/8/10 09:22
Nov 8 maybe a bit late, autumn foliage season for Dakigaeri Valley is from mid Oct to early Nov.

You can take a look at a short video here about the place on Oct 30 2009

According to the following, the walking trail is at present closed due to heavy rain from July 30 until further notice

Thanks for the info. will have to change my itinerary since it is close until further notice.

It is really difficult to plan the trip to Tohoku due to the limited transportation and most info is in Japanese!

Thanks.
