Japanese to English license translation

Hi,I am planning to visit hawaii from Japan and I have Japanese car license . When I inquired at rental car companies in Hawaii they mentioned I need to get English translation of my Japanese car license . Tried to lookup internet but no luck . Could someone please suggest where I can such translation around Tokyo .
It seem JAF provides ENG to JP translation but I need JP to ENG so that I can rent car in Hawaii. Many thanks in advance for your help.

The proper way is to get an international driving permit. This can be done at major local police offices and prefectural driving license offices.
