Can someone tell me how to get to Sanjo Station from Kyoto Station. I want to go to the Fushimi Inari Shrine and I read where you need to get off at Fushimi Inari Station on the Kintetsu electric railroad. Also does the shikansen arrive at Kyoto Station or does it have it's own special station like Shin Osaka? Thanks for any help.

Your question makes no sense. Sanjo Station is nowhere near Fushimi Inari. And it is not located along the way between Kyoto Station and Fushimi Inari. And Fushimi Inari is not served by Kintetsu! How to travel from Kyoto Station to Sanjo Station: Take the Karasuma Subway Line to Karasuma-Oike Station and transfer to the Tozai Subway Line to Sanjo Station: http://www.jorudan.co.jp/english/norikae/How to travel from Kyoto Station to Fushimi Inari: Two stations by local train along the JR Nara Line: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3915.htmlAlso does the shikansen arrive at Kyoto Station or does it have it's own special station like Shin Osaka? It arrives at Kyoto Station.
