Taxi or Train....
not so much the $$$, but what is the easier way? I think we will be tired from the long flight. I did look up on Hyperdia, and its only ONE transfer, not too bad.
Thank you for your advice

You should NEVER take a taxi from Narita to Shinjuku. The distance is just too far. Imagine the fastest train with connection still takes about 1 hour, a taxi ride would be about 1.5-2hrs. You'll be ringing up a taxi tab of around 200-300 US dollars.
You can either take a direct limousine bus or direct Narita Express train for 35 US dollars or so. Both are comfortable and don't require you to speak or communicate with the driver.

I would take a train, but in your case it would depend on where I was staying. If the Park Hyatt / Nishi Shinjuku, bus is easier. If it's on the Southern Terrace, train.
