Stay in Takaragawa Onsen in January 2011

Hi, i will be going to Japan (winter time) in Jan 2011. I would like to visit & stay for a night at Takaragawa Onsen. I love to experience staying in a Ryokan with Onsen & with viewing of snow mountain. Has anyone been to this place and will it be difficult to find it? Beside this, any recommendations for such places? Thank you in advance.

Yes, I have been there. I had no problems finding it by entering it into the navigation system of my car. If you travel by car without navigation system, it will be slightly challenging. There are thousands of onsen ryokan across Japan. My favorites are Iwanoyu in Seni Onsen and Tsurunoyu in Nyuto Onsen. Kurokawa Onsen is very nice, too.
