Direct Bus from Gero to Kiso Valley

I will be staying at Gero and would like to make a day trip to Kiso Valley. Is this possible?
Is there a direct bus from Gero to Nakatsugawa (how long) and then from Nagiso back to Gero (how long).

There used to be one. But now a transfer is necessary along the way:

Thank you for your reply. I went to the website and came up with the following. Can you help me check if this is correct as I do not understand Japanese. I am not sure if the timings is correct on all days.

My itinerary on 10 Nov, Wednesday:
Take bus from Gero bus station to Kashmosogo-jimusho bus stop (加子母総合事務所前) at 9am (arrived 9.35am), change bus to Nakatsugawa stn (中津川駅前発) at 9.40am or 10.40am.
To return, take bus from Nakatsugawa stn at 5:40pm to Kashmosogo-jimusho bus stop (arrived 6:21pm). Change bus to Gero at 7:08pm (last bus). Arrived Gero at 7:43pm.
