Osaka Frasers Residence Nankai 2010/9/24 09:22
Hi, has anyone stayed at this service apartment in Osaka? It's located minutes from Namba station as stated in its website. Has exactly near or far is it from the station to the apartments? Is it stroller friendly as I am bringing my kids along.
Is the location good as I am planning to visit Universal studios, the aquarium as well as factory outlet?
Is there any supermarkets very nearby where I can purchase daily neccessity?

Thanks!

Nobody would have stayed at Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka before as it doesn't open until next month (October 2010). It is located across the street from Namba Nankai station and a short distance from the subway. Much of Japan's major city transportation is stroller friendly.

The nearest supermarket is Max Valu (24 hours) and is located about 700m west of the hotel:

For a totally insane supermarket experience, visit Tamade in Osaka. The nearest to where you are staying is probably this one:

Take the train directly from Nankai Namba station to Rinku Town Outlet. For Universal Studios, take the subway to JR Osaka and change to JR. For the Aquarium, take the subway (change at Hommachi).

Through the website, I can see that Takashimaya departmental store is nearby. I would assume there is a supermarket within there.

I am just curious to know how long would the journey takes from this apartment to Universal Studio.

Have just spoken to the Director of sales, the price which they have offered me differ from the website. More expensive. Am waiting for them to revert back.

I would not describe what you find in most Japanese department stores a supermarket, but you may be able to find what you need there at a higher price.

Depending on the route taken, Universal Studios whould be about 25-35 minutes away. Use this ite for routing:

Enter "Namba" and "Universalcity".
