From Narita Airport to Ikebukuro 2010/9/29 17:09
Hi, I have read alot of info regarding this issue but was dated back in 07. I wonder whether it is still relevant. Anyway, can anyone tell me what is the best way to travel from Narita airport (on SQ) to ikebukuro? By Narita express or by Keisei express. How about the package Suica & Nex? I will be staying in Tokyo for about 2 weeks. Do you think Suica & Nex package is better? If I take Keisei Express, will it be traoublesome for my family of five, being 3 yrs old is the youngest?

The situation changed since 2007. Here are the details:

Which one to take depends on your priorities! The cheapest is by Keisei limited express via Nippori. The fastest is by Skyliner and Yamanote Line via Nippori. The most comfortable is by direct Narita Express (or possibly a limousine bus).

Nex and Suica 2010/10/1 12:27
I figure that Nex and Suica would be the best option, maybe chepaer at 3500 Yen.
Where can I find the timing for Narita express? We arrive at Narita at 0710. Will the office open for buying the ticket? Is there any NEx+Suica for children? If no, how much will it cost for children on Nex ?

U can find the NEX time-table and fare info here:

Not all NEX stops at Ikebukuro. In any case, alight at Tokyo station and change to JR Yamanote line to Ikebukuro.

Yes the ticket office is opened around 7am. There are clear signage to lead u to the JR ticket counters.
