Transferring at Narita Airport 2010/10/2 09:06
Arriving on JAL 05@16:15 connecting to SQ11 19:10. Different airlines and terminals. Is it possible to get my bags and transfer without going through immigration?

If you are not stopping in Japan you do not go through immigration/customs and your checked luggage will will be automatically transfered to the connecting flight.

You will need to transfer terminals by bus, details of the buses can be found on this page:

Unless both of your airline have an interline agreement, you'll have to through customs, get your bags and recheck again and go through immigration. Hopefully you'll have ample time between flights

You cannot go from one terminal to another without going through immigration and customs.
