Bus services in hokkaido

Hi,
Would like to enquire about the bus service from Hakodate to Sapporo and Sapporo to Asahikawa.

Understand that i am able to take Chuo bus service from Sapporo to Asahikawa which is 2000yen. But where do i board the bus, do i need to do my booking in advance? Will it be operating during winter, will be thre in February 2011.

At the Sapporo Station Bus Terminal (in front of JR Sapporo Station), the Chuo Bus Sapporo Bus Terminal (near Odori Station) or several minor stops along the route that leads out of Sapporo.

Yes, there are departures every 20-30 minutes everyday of the year between 7am and 21:30.
