Driving from Nagano to snow monkey park 2010/10/10 15:15
Hello

We will stay in Nagano for one night on Oct 30. We plan to go to snow monkey park the next day. We need to catch a train in Nagano around 16:00. We would like to rent a car, but have some questions.
1 Is it difficult to drive at that time of the year ? Is there any chance of snowing ?
2 Where do we park a car that is closest to the park ?

Thank all

I don't know if it can snow at this time but I've been watching this webcam of the monkeys for a few weeks on and off and there doesn't seem to be any hint of snow on there recently.

Like they no chance of snow during that time. It's pretty easy to get to the monkey park by car. If you have satnav you can use the telephone number on their English Website.

You can park the car in front of the monkey park and from the car park it's about 15-20 minute walk. Signs will lead the way.

I actually did the trip a last weekend and also rented a car. We are now writing about it on our blog. Although the monkey park is part 3 of our trip (which will be released somewhere later this week) it might be to check the first 2 parts of this trip.
