Mt. Fuji - Autumn 2010/11/2 06:48
I heard that there is a place near Mitsu-toge or Higashi-Katsura stations on the Fuji-kyukou line for a place to get autumn pictures close the station, but I'm not sure which one it is.

The Chureito Pagoda provides a very special setting fro autumn pictures:

But the best place for autumn colors in combination with Mount Fuji are from the norther shores of Kawaguchiko, in my opinion:

Thanks again, Uji. I am already familiar with those two places for autumn pictures, as well as, Lake Yamanaka, Oshino and Koyodai (http://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+78201).

I heard from a teacher that around those two stations is a good spot for Fall pictures.

I went to Chureito and Kawaguchiko today. I found Chureito to be the easiest to get better pictures, but the leaves there will probably last until the end of the week.

I also recommend Yamanakako around Hirano if you have a good camera with a zoom lens (at least 70mm).
