Persimmon and Apple Picking 2010/11/3 20:09
We are going to Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo in late November and would like to know if there are any persimmon and apple farms nearby for fruit picking? Or if you know local tour operators who offer fruit-picking tour, please advise. Thank you!

Chogo Fruits Park nagai 2010/11/5 19:11
How about Chogo Fruits Park near Chogo station? You can get to this farm by Odakyu train from Shinjuku station, Tokyo. It takes about 70 minutes from Shinjuku to Chogo.

Hi!
There were lots of fruit picking tour companies, but could not find a English web-site.

persimmons? 2010/11/6 22:59
Can't say for sure, but persimmon picking seemed to be at its peak about a week ago when we were at Yoshino. Late November might be late. Can't speak to apples.
