I am going to Kii Katsuura in December and was told not to bring credit cards but to instead bring International money orders. Where can I exchange these?

I recommend to get your Japanese cash before traveling to Katsuura. And definitely bring your credit card. Many establishments in the area accept credit cards, especially the bigger ones.
