Beach towns in south/east Kansai? 2010/12/2 22:26
Hello all!

I'm planning my first trip to Japan next summer (mid-June to early July), and I'm going with my best friend. We are trying to stick to a counter-clockwise loop of the Kanto and Kansai prefectures, and on our way back up to Tokyo from Osaka, we wanted to find a nice beach town along the Kansai coast to chill for a day or two. Gorgeous cliffs with sandy (not pebbly) beaches and lots of greenery is ideal!

Suggestions?? We are traveling on a moderate budget, so we don't wanna get TOO crazy... but we would like to do a bit of pampering :)
