on http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2276.html , it says that it will open on january 1 to 5.

however, http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4002.html suggested that it is closed on consecutive days in January...

I just want to know which one is more accurate?

Both are accurate! In 2011, the observatory will be closed on January 24 and 25.
