Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go and Takaoka

Hi, I am travelling from Kanazawa to Shirakawago.

845am - Nohi bus departs Kanazawa and arrives at Shirakawago at 10am. It indicates that reservation is required. where can I go to buy the tickets?

Also, the website mentions shopping in Takaoka in Toyama. am intending to make a half day trip. what type of shopping is there at Takaoka? Thanks.

any idea if its good enough to purchase the tickets at the Kanazawa station 1-day in advance or there is some public holiday around the corner and I need to buy tickets one-month in advance.

I think it will be no problem whatsoever. I don't think the bus is busy at all on weekends in the middle of May.
