Bus to inner Ise Shrine 2011/2/4 13:31
Hi,

The Inner Shrine stands several kilometers outside the city center and can be reached in a 15 minute bus ride. Can anyone refer me to the bus schedule? Thanks.

Take a bus from JR Ise City station. It takes about 15min. I walked back a long way following the Emperor visit memorial lanterns and took me about a hour.

Ise bus 2011/2/5 04:44
During weekdays there are 4 buses per hour leaving from Ise rail station for Naiku Inner Shrine at 0.3 (on 0.1 at 7.00), 0.18, 0.33 and 0.48 from 7.00-17.00. The earliest bus leaves at 6.46. On weekends there are 6 buses per hour from 10.00-15.00. The one-way bus fare is 410 yen

If you have time for more sightseeing, consider buying a 1000 yen CAN-Bus day pass that allow you to hop-on-and-off between Geku Outer Shrine, Naiku Inner Shrine, Futami Sea Paradise, Meoto-iwa Wedding Rocks, Edo Wonderland and Toba (Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium).

Tourist information centre 2011/2/5 10:23
We were able to pick up a bus schedule for the CAN bus at the Toba tourist information centre. You could try asking for a bus schedule at one of the tourist information centres in Ise.
