Going to Japan: Radiation threat? 2011/3/13 19:47
Hi all! I am planned to go to Japan on the 31st (Akita) but with the recent catastrophes especially the most recent one, the radiation threat, I wonder IF I SHOULD STILL GO.

I will NOT be there for a vacation but for student exchange program. The website of the school I will be going to has been down since yesterday.

What to do???

This is something you have to decide for yourself. Keep up with the news, read updates here, and make an informed decision.

I guess I just have to wait for further announcements coming from my host school in Japan. I believe they can better gauge the situation more than anyone.

I doubt the host program will allow you to come over if there is a serious threat to your health. Keep up to date with the host program, they will let you know what is best. :)
