Hi folks, I know this question was already asked (often asked), but I beg you to have a sympathetic ear for my issue. Well, how the headline says: I want to visit Takachiho. Therefore I want to use the eSankobusf from Kumamoto. My current planning refers to the quoted bus-timetable of: http://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+81325 to be exact: http://www.kyusanko.co.jp/sankobus/toshikan/takachiho/table/takachiho_...In addition I checked the website of Takachiho-city and found following informationfs: http://www.town-takachiho.jp/culture/access/bus.htmlWhen you compare both timetables you will see that there is a time difference of approximately 10 minutes. Which schedule is most up to date? Do buses run on weekends / public holidays to Takachiho? Where can I buy a bus-ticket? At the counter of Kumamoto-Station, in bus or is it even necessary to make a reservation in advance (which website)? Thanks for you patience and advices.

The timetable on the Kyusanko website is up to date.

Yes.
Where can I buy a bus-ticket? At the counter of Kumamoto-Station, in bus or is it even necessary to make a reservation in advance (which website)?
I believe that reservations are not mandatory, and that tickets can be paid inside the bus, but I am not sure. The bus company does not seem to have a ticket office at Kumamoto Station.
The following phone number by the bus company might not have English speakers, but you could try and see: 096-325-0100
