Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge 2011/5/26 06:27
One of our dream is to travel trough the Akashi-Kaikyō Bridge (by bus or by train, it doesn't matter). Unfortunately I can't find any information about it. Can anybody tell me what bus/train we should take? Or we only can go trough it on foot?

There is no train! The only possibilities are car (paid expressway) and bus. Many bus lines pass over the bridge, including the buses between Osaka/Kobe and Naruto, Tokushima and Takamatsu. If you like bridges, you might want to consider a trip to Naruto:

There's a walking tour that you may be interested that takes you to the top of one of the 300 meter high towers as well as to the underlying bridge structure. Its a pretty long 2.5 hour tour and costs 3000 yen/person. There's more info on this page:

If you just want to cross the bridge and don't have a car then you'll need to take either a highway bus or taxi. Bus routes from Osaka/Kobe/Kyoto cross the bridge en route to different destinations in Shikoku so that may be an option. But a taxi may be cheaper if you are just interested in crossing the bridge.
