Nyuto Onsen - Akita-Komagatake by bus

Hi all!

We are going to stay at Nyuto Onsen for 2 nights and to do some hiking at Akita-Komagatake area on a day inbetween.

So as we are not driving, we are limited to use public transport. I've managed to find and decrypt Tozawake St - Nyuto Onsen bus timetable - http://www.ugokotsu.co.jp/ug/rosen/jikoku/da06.pdf (great thanks to Uji-san!), but have some problems with the route to Akita-Komagatake. As far as I can see the following page refers to it: http://www.ugokotsu.co.jp/ug/rosen/jikoku/da07.pdf But i didn't totally understood the following two things:
1) where should we change the bus from Nyuto Onsen to the bus to Akita-Komagatake? What is the name of this stop (in Japanese characters and in latin transcription)?
2) which days operates the bus to Akita-Komagatake in September? Does it run on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY? What about the national holidays - 19th and 23th?

At Arupa Komakusa bus stop (アルパこまくさ), as shown on the bus map on the following page:

Note that if you stay at the Tsurunoyu, the ryokan will provide a shuttle bus to Arupa Komakusa. If you stay at another ryokan, you can take the regular bus there.

Saturdays, Sundays AND national holidays, i.e. September 19 and 23, 2011.

Could you please give me a piece of advice on Tsurunoyu Onsen?

As stated on the ryokan's web-site:
"Day trip spas aren't allowed in the outdoor baths on Mondays"

Is that valid if Monday is a public holiday (e.g. September, 19, 2011)? Are public onsens closed on regular Monday for staying guests as well?

No, if a national holiday falls on the Monday, then the baths will be open on Monday and will be closed on the nearest regular weekday instead, e.g. September 20.

No. Except during the cleaning time, which takes place after check-out time and before check-in time. Guests who stay consecutive days over Monday won't be able to use the outdoor pools for a certain time period during the daytime.
