How much does a working visa cost?

I'm getting sponsored by an Eikaiwa in Japan and was wondering if anyone knew the cost of obtaining a working visa. Does the school pay for it normally? I'm a U.S. citizen btw.

There are no costs involved when processing visas at Japanese Embassies/consulates in the United States.
