Hi,
I plan to go to Hakone and Gotemba in a day. Here is my plan for Hakone.
Starting from Hakone-Yumoto to Gora Sounzan Owakudani Togendai Hakonemachi Motohakone
From Motohakone, I wish to travel to Gotemba. Should I take the cruise back to Togendai and then travel to Gotemba? Or is there any connecting bus from Motohakone to Gora to Gotemba?
Thank you in advance.

I suppose if would be time efficient if I travel back to togendai from motohakone (cruise) and then catch a bus from togendai to gotemba right?

Hi Al,
Thanks for your advice. Can I check with you if I go to which route will be faster?
1. Moto-Hakone - Kowakien - Gotemba or 2. Moto-Hakone - Togendai - Gotemba
Thanks in advance.

In case of route1, the Odakyu highway bus does not stop at the Outlet (it goes to Gotenba JR station) so it is better to take the Izuhakonetozan bus from Togendai and transfer at Sengoku to get Outlet.
Route 1: 30min Motohakone-Togendai 14min Togendai-Sengoku 20min Sengoku-Outlet
Total=64min
Route 2: 15min Motohakone-Kowakien 48min Kowakien-Outlet
Total=63min
The time is not so much different, but there are 3 transfers for route 1. Therefore, i think it's faster to take the route 2.
