Seishun 18: from Sapporo to Aomori

Dear all,
Could you please advise how I can get from Sapporo to Aomori via Seishun 18 pass.

The arrival to Sapporo 2 p.m. to New Chitose airport.

As I checked via hyperdia there is hamanasu train between Sapporo and Aomori. But this is express and not allowed to use by Seishun 18. Am I right?

You are right. You cannot use the Hamanasu.

But the Seishun 18 Kippu is valid on limited express trains between Kanita and Kikonai (because there are no local trains on that section). So, here is a possible connection:

With an arrival at 2pm, you can only get as far as Mori Station on day 1:

There is a slight risk that the above linked schedules change after March 17, although I don't think so. Nevertheless, I recommend to double check again once Hyperdia has updated its database. Right now it has not been updated yet and results for dates beyond March 17 are still based on the old timetable data.
