Says on the website 1.5 to 2 hours to get up and an hour to get down - I know these estimates can be a bit unreliable just wondered if anyone here has done it and could give timings for ascent and descent - I am a pretty fast walker!

Fast walkers can do it in an hour or less from Daishoin Temple to the summit. It is rather steep (lots of stair steps). So, slower walkers can easily spend twice as long as fast walkers, i.e. up to two hours.
The descent is much faster. Fast walkers can do it in 45 minutes or less.
