Sleep Hakodate Station, Woman Solo

Hi, I want to sleep in Hakodate Station. I read in old post that they allow people to sleep in second floor.

I'm solo traveller and a woman.. Is it safe enough? I don't bring any expensive things. My train also arrive in Hakodate at 1 am.

Is there any near bath room also?

There is a waiting room with chairs. Also on the platform. It is safe.
The key phrase, if you are asked by the police or the station staff, is to say you are waiting for Hamanasu train to Aomori.
If you need, there are cheap accommodations around the station.3,000yen & up.

1. it's a reasonable price for hotel but i don't think i should use it because i may only need it for some few hours. The restaurant option really more i preferred. Is it open 24 hour? How bout any onsen or bath room near the station?

2. If there anyone ask me, will they ask for the ticket to aomori?

some clarifications are needed.

When do you want to sleep? Like 10pm till 1am? Are you getting on or off the train arriving 1am in Hakodate? I read you get on. As far as you are waiting for your incoming train at the station, nobody will disturb you. You can see some benches there in the link photo below. That's your bed that night. Station staff will be there around the clock. But they will shut down early morning 3am to 4am to kick homeless out, maybe. I hope you will have left there by then.

There is one Dennys style restaurant at around the station. It is Victoria Station. Open until 2am. Check the map below.

The bathroom (no shower) is available at the station.

I assume you will not go Hokodate in winter time. It is freezing. You should do this in summer.

My train will arrive at 1 am in hakodate from hirosaki. I plan to go sight see hakodate from morning. Hence, i need to have breakfast and bathroom at 4-5 am. Any idea of them near the station.
