Get off at the Daiba station on the Yurikamome line and exit to the right and away from the Statue of Liberty. Keep walking along the wide pedestrian walkway and over the Shuto Expressway. Diver City Tokyo Plaza is the first brown building on your left. Hang a left once you get there and you can't miss it....

Does anybody how often the Gundam "comes to life" at night? Is it a one time show each night or are there scheduled intervals? Is there a schedule listed somewhere?

It comes to life 3 times daily at 12:00 15:00 and 17:00.

I was just there two weeks ago. Just to add, there is also a `show` on Saturdays at 8:15 pm.
Also, Diver City is already open for business, so you can do shopping there as well. Be prepared though, as it gets super busy.

That's right, there's also a 5-7 min show called Gundam Stand Atop Tokyo that includes video projected on the wall behind the Gundam. Its held weekdays at 19:30 and 20:30, weekends and holidays 19:30 20:15 and 21:00. The 20:15 and 20:30 showing are a little shorter for some reason.

Hmm, I wonder what the regular show is like compared to the stand atop tokyo version? Hopefully it's just of the Gundam turning on, moving it's head and some smoke effect. I think that's what they used to do in the past. I prefer that over the music, video and lights going crazy.

The show looks interesting, but that's all? The arms won't even move? Still, I would love to visit there next time.

@amuro When most people talk about seeing the Gundam at Odaiba, I think they are referring to seeing the huge 1:1 scale Gundam for free in front of the building. Some people then pay to go inside where they can see various things related to Gundam.
@azyiu From videos I've seen it's basically just a light/smoke show and only the head moves. I haven't seen it yet, but I'd go even without the lights/smoke. Where else in the world will you see a giant robotic looking structure just sitting in the open? :)

@Smithers, thanks, so the admission fee is to the store itself and not to the "live show" for the 1:1 Gundam then?

so the admission fee is to the store itself and not to the "live show" for the 1:1 Gundam then? The life show is free, and the "Gundam Cafe" shop can be entered for free. But the "Gundam Front" mini-theme park on the top floor of the shopping complex is paid (except the shop that comes with it which can be entered for free): http://gundamfront-tokyo.com/en/
