Sumo wrestling in August

Hi all,
I'll be in Japan between the 5th and the 26th of August and would very much like to see a some sumo wrestling.
Unfortunately so far I only found the dates for the September tournament which starts on the 27th of august so it's too late.
Does anyone know where I could find dates for other tournaments or just match or training sessions during august ?

They plan to move around Hakkaido and Tohoku region (Asahikawa, Obohiro, Ishinomaki, Miyako, Akita etc) from Aug 4 to Aug 12.

I'll be in Japan mid August as well and I'm quite bummed I can't find a sumo tournament or just a small match to watch!
