Three in a twin room at Shibuya Tobu hotel? 2012/7/15 11:03
So I'm having a hard time finding a triple room in Shibuya. I prefer to stay in this area. I've stayed at Shibuya Tobu hotel and find it to be the most ideal location for my interests. I'm aware that they can accommodate 3 people in a TWIN room, but it's not available on any sites that offer booking for this hotel. Can I just bring the third person up in the TWIN room that's already been booked?

The inconveniences of these business hotels...

No, that is not acceptable. The cost is different for double occupancy vs. triple occupancy.

Japanican allows reservations for the particular hotel for triple occupancy in English:

Alternatively, you can try it by phone, fax or e-mail directly to the hotel. Contact details are listed at the top of the following page:

I just checked the Japanese site, and they say their standard twin rooms can be used by up to three people, with "an extra bed" brought in for the third person.

I would either e-mail or fax them beforehand to let them know that you do need that extra bed (probably that slim one rollers) during your stay.
