Car rental in Sakate (Shodoshima)

Hello,

I'm planning to travel to Shodoshima island next month and i'll be arriving in Sakate.

Is it possible to rent a car in Sakate ? I can't find any agency...

Also what about the parking fee in Shodoshima ? Is it free to park ?

I can't find a rental car outlet at Sakate Port, but most other ports have some:

They'll meet you at the port at when your designated ferry arrives. I contacted them in rough, basic Japanese, but they had 2 employees who understand English. Their names are Sunami and Yamamoto. We were there early Feb this year, so it will hopefully be similar. We picked up the car at Tonosho, then returned it at Fukuda. They met us on both occasions.
