Hi all, There's a hot springs ryokan in Ohara (near Kyoto). I can't quite work out if one can visit just to enjoy the hot spring. Or are they for room guests only? Their website site is here; http://www.seryo.co.jp/english/hot_spring.htmlI can't see anything on the English pages, but I fear senility has set in early! as always, thanks!

Just using the baths does not seem possible. But they offer lunch courses for groups of 4+ people, that combine a lunch with private use of the bath from 5500 yen per person. Advance reservations are mandatory: http://www.seryo.co.jp/plan.html
