Combining districts in Tokyo 2012/7/31 02:53
I will be in Tokyo for five days this October. Since the visit will be short, I was wondering the about the best ways to combine districts in order to minimize travel time. I figure Shinjuku/Harajuku/Shibuya makes sense, but what about other combinations? Thanks! :-)

Where else do you plan to go?

They are grouped here on the Tokyo City Guide page in general:-

Enjoy your trip!

Hmm... it'd help if you indicated places you were interested in.

Tsukiji-HamaRikyu - (ferry or Yurikamome) Odaiba-(ferry) Asakusa is easily combined - but a long day.

Yanaka-Ueno-Okachimachi-Akihabara (assumes walking)

Asakusa-Ginza-Shibuya (all Ginza line).

Ryokoku (Edo Tokyo museum) Koishikawa Korakuen - Shinjuku (a little far from each other but all on the Sobu line)

Komagome (Rikugien) Sugamo

Ginza /(Yuurakucho) Roppongi Hills - (Hibiya line)

If you list the places you have in mind it is easier to work on combinations. Sometimes you will save money on an all day pass if you stick to one system.
