Hi i need some clarification...
Correct me if I interpreted it wrongly.
If I buy a Icoca & Haruka (4,000YEN), I will entitle to:
(1) One trip KIX to Osaka
(2) One trip from Osaka back to KIX (within 3 weeks)
(3) At the same time I receive additional prepaid 1500 YEN pass to use on train and buses? What rail this pass valid for?
Thanks.

If you are going to Shin-Imamiya, then you can take the Haruka from Kansai Airport to Tennoji Station. Then transfer to the JR Yamatoji Line and in 2 minutes you will be at Shin-Imamiya.
So, yes the Haruka + ICOCA would be fine for the above.
Alternatively, you can take the Nankai Rapit or Nankai Airport Express direct to Shin-Imamiya from Kansai Airport. This is probably easier and the Airport Express is slightly cheaper (890 yen one way).

I plan to buy icoca n karuna bcos think of round trip n extra 1500 yen pass.
If nankai express can reach shin-imamiya direct, i think better i go for it.
I hope easy to go shin osaka easy from shin imamiya.

ICOCA & Haruka : 4000 yen -round airport trip + 1500yen ICOCA + deposit 500yen -you arrive at Tennoji station, one stop from Shinimamiya. ICOCA card : 4000yen -3500yen ICOCA + deposit 500yen -a round trip costs 890*2 = 1780yen -direct train to Shinimamiya You must see where are Tennoji, Shin-Imamiya, Osaka(station) and Shin-Osaka station. http://www.westjr.co.jp/english/travel-information/kansai-airport/When you travel from Kansai airpot to your hotel, you don't need to go to Osaka or Shin-Osaka station. That's simply detour.

If you go by Haruka & ICOCA, buy the package(4000yen), ride Haruka Airport Express to Tennoji station, Shin-Imamiya is one stop from Tennoji station. The journey is fully covered by Haruka portion of the package, so you don't need to use ICOCA.
If you go by ICOCA, buy ICOCA card(4000yen) at the Airport and ride Nankai train. You will reach Shin-Imamiya station without trainsfer. If you "touch" the card to the ticket gate machine. the fare 890yen is deducted from the ICOCA card.

I will like to ask a further question regarding this card. For the Haruka portion, if i board a haruka express train from kansai airport to kyoto, does this package already includes seat fee and also fare? For example, I use hyperdia to check on the train routes at 10am. The total fare (1830+1150) is 2,980 Yen for haruka no 12. Which means by using this card, it covers the whole amount already?
